With over 30 years of experience in the data analytics and business intelligence sector, I have a track record in driving innovation and growth. From 2010, I was the founder and CEO of alva, an AI analytics firm that grew to over 100 employees with offices in London and New York, serving hundreds of global organisations. A decade later, alva was acquired by Falfurrias Capital Partners, leading to the creation of Penta, where I served as Senior Partner and Managing Partner of the AI division until 2023. In 2024, I founded Ordino Partners.
I also enjoy writing, almost as much as building companies. My first book, The Connecting Leader, explores how business leaders should authentically connect business with society.
With a strong inclination towards interdisciplinary, analytical work, I have enjoyed a 20-year career in diverse roles, from designing and building products and operations, to scaling marketing and sales teams. After a successful exit in 2021 from the AI analytics firm I co-founded - alva - I have expanded my knowledge of computational ecology and data science through a master’s and an ongoing PhD at UCL. My overarching goal is to help develop practical solutions to climate change and biodiversity loss through a mixture of research, entrepreneurship, and investment.
